From February 17 to February 18, 2021, a team consisting of two (2) members from Dhaka head office visited Chhaygaon, Shariatpur to monitor and follow up GramClean project activities after December 2020 visit.

The team had a meeting with the newly formed female local advisory committee (3 Members) who are in the teaching profession. They were interested to work in the GramClean project voluntarily; more specifically to increase subscribers of this project.

The team had also a meeting with the local male advisory committee members (11 members) to follow up on the plan which was undertaken in the last meeting.

The team had another meeting with the group of community people who have been taking our services as non-subscriber. They assured with their affirmative consent that from now on they will be involved with GramClean activities as regular monthly subscribers.

Besides that, the team talked to few shopkeepers in the market to raise awareness among village people.

The visit was ended with a big hope to make Chhaygaon “A Waste-Free Village”.
