From December 6 – 8, 2022 a team consisting of two (2) members from Dhaka head office visited Chhaygaon, Shariatpur to monitor and follow up GramClean project activities. The team had several meetings with the GramClean monthly subscribers. Based on the discussions, a few new subscribers are interested to be the part of making compost fertilizer using bio-degradable waste generated from household and also interested to increase awareness among the other villagers to make compost fertilizer by our GramClean staffs.

The team had a few others several meetings with the beneficiaries who are using our compost fertilizer and interested to use produced compost fertilizer further. The Upazila agriculture officer also assured us to guide our GramClean staff time to time to produce compost fertilizer.

During the visit, the team visited the field area where compost fertilizer was used. The visit was happily ended with a big hope to make Chhaygaon “A Waste Free Village”.
